Hardening
Through the choice of the operating frequency of the induction heating system, the resulting depth of penetration is defined.Additionally, it can be decided if the area is to be hardened in the air, with water or with a special hardening emulsion. Depending on the cooling medium, different degrees of hardness are achieved.Induction hardening can be realized as a manual or automated solution. There is also the possibility to harden in a continuous process.
Brazing and soldering of metals
Metals can be joined cohesively through inductive heating with the aid of solders or brazing filler metals. Due to the special adaptability of the induction heating and the corresponding brazing filler metals it is possible to combine and join ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic materials amongst each other. Annealing
After the hardening of steel it may be necessary, depending on the further use of the part, to anneal it as to counteract the tension of the material. The higher the temperature during annealing, the softer the steel gets. The hardness decreases, but the toughness increases. In this case the induction heating method provides essential advantages: Both the temperature and the heating time can be accurately determined and adhered to. This ultimately leads to a high reproducibility and consistent part quality.
Tempering
The inductive tempering is a subsection of the heat treatment in which a predefined warm-up, through heating and cooling process leads to specific desired component properties.The most important case for the induction process are the soft annealing and stress relief annealing:During soft annealing, the hardness and strength of the steel is reduced in order to facilitate deformation. This typically happens at temperatures between 680 ° C and 780 ° C.The second typical application is the stress relief annealing
Shrinking
The shrink fitting of two workpieces (e.g. gearwheel, unbalanced mass, shaft, etc.) leads to a friction-locked connection. This is a method based on the principle of the thermal expansion of metals.If for example a gearwheel is heated to a temperature at which the internal bore is so big that it can be pushed easily to a shaft and said gearwheel is then cooled, the diameter of the inner bore is reduced to such an extent that a friction-locked connection to the shaft is guaranteed.

closely related to the application in paper and cardboard processing you find here products for manufacturing all kind of packaging, mostly from mentioned cardboard. But also for processing of plastic or metal foils you will find products made with polyurethane.
